I teach courses for Faber Academy online and for City Lit in person in Covent Garden London, where I was previously a student myself!

In September 2025 for Faber Academy I am teaching:

Writing YA – a 12 week online course starting 15th September 2025 and

Writing Crime – a 12 week course starting 29th September 2025.

At City Lit in Covent Garden, London, I am teaching:

Writing for Children Advanced: Finishing Your Novel, a one term weekly course starting Thursday 25th September 10.30am -12.

This can be taken as a whole year course with Term 2: Writing for Children Advanced: Editing Your Novel Part 1 and Term 3: Writing for Children Advanced: Editing Your Novel Part 2.

It can also be taken along with the Writing for Children Workshop below, on the same day.

Writing for Children Workshop, a one term weekly online Zoom Course Thursdays 12.30-2pm starting 25th September 2025.

Writing YA was a fantastic course which I would highly recommend to anyone interested in writing, at whatever stage they are at in their journey. During the course of the 12 weeks I have grown in confidence through the feedback from the tutor and classmates. I have been able to develop an idea for, fully plan out and make a start on my novel, receiving encouraging and constructive feedback throughout. I feel we have built a supportive community that will continue to flourish after the course ends.
